knife not necessary!!!!!!

i was so stoked when i saw this in my sister's fridge... i was unaware of it's existence, but omg! hellmann's mayonaise comes in this spiff new bottle with a long slit, making it unnecessary to use a knife on your sanggggggggggwich! and since i, myself, am a gigggganic fan of mayo, here's their site, which has nutritional facts, as well as recipes... scope it out here

i guess you get what you pay for at the PNE

we went to the PNE / Playland where they had a face painting booth... and i couldn't help but capture this spectacular make up artistry... "the princess - $3"

hannnnnnnnnnnahhh montannnnnnnnnahhhhhhhhh

stevon's 23rd birthday party needed that extra special touch... so i went on a search for a very specific cake... it took four different super markets to find it... but there it was... Hannah Montana 24 cupcake cake shaped like a star complete with guitar shaped lip gloss... and... it was delicious.

before he was an animated donkey...

he was totally rad... with not only one of the greatest songs of all time but also one of the greatest videos ever made. so, small audience, i bring you... eddie murphy's (with rick james) "party all the time" 1985.

lunch meat for a week or.....

350 grams of gummy bear... it doesn't sound like a lot... until you're holding this little chunk of cavity... a gift to my sister, this lil' guy was worth noting... i included the "nutritional facts"

oh come on.

jaime and pollo are friends now... but jaime's a lot more stoked than pollo.

look into the future...this is what you'll see...

i came across my dad and stepmom in the future... i needed stevon to pretend to be the focus of the shot...

your wildest dreams have come true!

um. enough said.

giant monsterous squirrel!!!! oh no...wait....

i stumbled across this with a "pffffff" sound... then i clicked on it and realized what was really going on... although sad, this is sickly funny...

departs at what time exactly?

i was stuck in phoenix airport, trying to get to NY via a connecting flight... however, i wasn't sure i'd make it due to the uncertainty of my first flight...

wait... is that what i bought?

i bought a box of s'mores granola bars... store brand... and opened one up excitedly... confused, i looked back and forth from the bar to the box... clearly, they have a good food photographer and stylist... and you get what you pay for... weh wehhhhhh

lego my..... uh, my legos....

for all you lego builders... are you aware you can buy single lego pieces that may be difficult to find... on ebay? IT COULD COMPLETE THAT PROJECT THAT'S BEEN COLLECTING DUST FOR YEARS!!!! they run for about a dollar a piece, of course, take rarity into consideration... scope it out here

zack morris calling, but i can't pick up! nooooooo!!!

here's an awesome phone that i stumbled across a couple years ago on a gadgets website... i would have bought it instantly, however, unfortunately, it only works in Europe and Australia... no US or Canada... yesterday, i re-found it, but still no progress on making it usable in north america... guess i'll get one when i move to europe.

dog's body, dog's body...

a person commented on how these dogs are probably miserable due to the "artist" responsible... i don't know, but if you ask me, this panda dog looks pretty damn happy.

this buffalo dog, well you can't really see his expression...

this camel dog does look a little bummed, but i mean that could be from anything...

although these three are my favorites, there are more of these poodles transformed, with an explaination... scope it out here

alumni success rate: fashion

i recently went to my college's website to try and find something funny i stumbled upon a few weeks ago, but found this as a consolation prize... the success stories of alumni, all the majors are listed to the left.. all with stories... i clicked on my major (as a currently unemployed (and severely not alone in my graduating class) "fashion design degree holder" of almost a year.)

there.
are.
no.
success.
stories.
way to go school. way. to. go.
(ps. i blocked out the school's name so i don't get sued. they didn't teach me that)

stevon sent me this picture... i'm not sure from where but it's amazing.

book wish list

here are a few books i'd like to add to my small collection... All of these books are related to food / the food industry...

1. The Great Starvation Experiment: The Heroic Men Who Starved so That Millions Could Live (by Todd Tucker) - this book, i've read... (borrowed) and it was by far the best i've ever read... and i'd like to again.

2. The Jungle (by Upton Sinclair) i think i was supposed to read this in high school, but ditched out on it instead... i think that could have been a dumb move on my part.

3. The Omnivore's Dilemma (by Michael Pollan) tons of people i know have read this and found it to be astonishing (with dull moments, but nevertheless, worth reading) so i think i'll go for it.

when i can afford to buy books again, those will be the first three :)

really? REALLY??!!?!?!

SO, i was in a small town which had a one movie, movie theater and we got to talking about how it happens that the biggest movies never get there when they first come out... i'm pretty sure i was told it depends on how much the movie costs for the theater to buy... the older it is, the less expensive... i went online and scoped it out... went to a site that offered ways to open a movie theater... i thought that'd help... not so much, but at the bottom, there was a link "how to propose in a movie theater" i was intrigued... so i clicked and found this...

A marriage proposal should be well prepared. Not only does it convince a woman to switch her title from girlfriend to bride, it is also a symbol of how the man sees the marriage. Giving the engagement ring plainly can be taken as a lack of effort, which may result in a failed marriage. Impress your woman by presenting a cool and creative marriage proposal. Running out of ideas? See if you can deviate a proposal out of these three ideas.

The Movie Theater Proposal
Movie dates are pretty normal, in fact, some couples define it as the default date. Remember, most people fail to expect something special from regular things or activities, which you can take full advantage of. Contact the management of the movie theater you frequently visit. Tell them your planning to propose to your girlfriend inside the theater. They will probably agree, provided you give them extra cash. Once you have secured the management’s approval, create a movie slide that professes your feelings toward your partner. Beneath your message, include the obligatory words, “Will You Marry Me?” The slide must be shown right after the movie, so your efforts will also receive a standing ovation from the film’s audience.

The Dinner Proposal
Dinner is a time when you expect to be stuffed in a lovely venue. Why not make the night even lovelier by blessing it with your marriage proposal? Talk to the restaurant owner regarding your proposal. Upon getting his or her approval, place the engagement ring in a small elegant container. Ask the chef to use it as a cake topping, which will be ordered after eating the main course. Wait personnel will deliver the cake, concealed by a dish cover, and deliver vague poetic lines that don’t give away the proposal. Reveal the cake to your girlfriend and proceed with your proposal.

The Eiffel Tower Proposal
Paris is the world’s most romantic city, so you might as well situate your proposal there. Communicate with city management regarding your proposal. Secure the permits and other requirements needed. Once you’re cleared, assemble the words “I Love You ! Will You Marry Me?,” on a tall building near the Eiffel Tower, using bright lights. Have a fireworks display setup right behind your proposal message. When everything has been arranged, go to the top of the Eiffel Tower with your girlfriend. Bring binoculars. View the city using your binoculars, as you cue the fireworks display. Give your girlfriend the binoculars and tell her to watch the fireworks. She will see your proposal, which will reduce her to tears. When she turns around to face you, you’ve already knelt down, asking for her hand in marriage.
Surprise, Grandeur and Romance

An effective marriage proposal should have a balance of surprise, grandeur and romance, as evidenced by these three ideas. Build on them and make your proposal appropriate to your girl’s qualities and personality. Once you pull it off, you will certainly hear wedding bells soon.

really?
